Miami Medical: Anatomy of Trauma in the ER, CBS-Style

Does somebody remember “Three Rivers”? CBS started a procedural-styled medical drama in the fall, and the series failed to deliver stellar ratings, which is why CBS canceled the series after 13 produced episodes and eight aired episodes. I gave up after three episodes, and I trash-talked the pilot episode. More than a half year later, CBS is trying out a new medical series, and it already looks like it will be another procedural-styled “Demigods in White” show? Or do we have a sleeper hit so late into the season?
After watching the pilot episode of former “Miami Trauma”, now called “Miami Medical”, CBS possibly has another “Three Rivers” in their hands: a boring medical drama, CBS-styled, with uninteresting characters, nice pictures, speedy soundtrack, fast cuts between the scenes, and characters, who don’t have any chemistry together. It is practically “Three Rivers” 2.0 in Miami, without the organ donor thing. But at least “Miami Medical”‘s pilot is much better than “Three Rivers”‘s. But the series is still boring after 42 minutes.
